German photographer Tom Abraham has launched a bilingual photo website on Vietnam on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the nation’s reunification (April 30).
Under the theme of “A piece of peace”, the website, at www.peace-piece.com, carries 300 photos that Tom Abraham took in Vietnam in 2007.
The photos, arranged in four topics: souls, culture, nature and outtakes, reflect Vietnamese people’s present daily life and the peace process in the Southeast Asian nation.
Tom Abraham taught himself photography and studied the subject in Bali, Indonesia. He has won several international prestigious awards including American Design Award and Dope Award.
